MoversTransport.co.uk
Movers Transport Ltd are a removals company based in Heaton Mersey, Manchester. They provide both Residential and Commercial removal and delivery services.
Our brief was to redesign their site and give it a fresh new look and to build a residential quoting system to provide users with an estimate for their proposed move. The system provides both a quick quote (user selects house type and distance) and a full quote (user selects the items to be shipped) and displays an instant quote on the screen (a copy is also sent to the user).
As well as providing their customers with an instant estimate, the website also helps Movers Transport determine which jobs require a site visit. The benefits of this can be felt at both Movers Transport and for the customer as less site surveys mean lowers costs.
CardinalMaritime.com
Cardinal Maritime Ltd are an International shipping company based in Sharston, Manchester. Pyxisoft provided the complete project package from Consultancy, to Design and Development of the new site. Cardinalmarime.com features the award winning 'Freight Calculator' software developed by Pyxisoft specifically for Cardinal Maritime. This software represents an industry first in shipping and provides 500+ quotations per week.
As part of the project, we helped to create a new brand in 'The Captain' and as a result of the success of the Freight Calculator, Cardinal Maritime have launched a new company (CardinalMaritime.com) dedicated to Internet bookings. We continue to work with Cardinal Maritime, further integrating existing business processes and adding new functionality to the Freight Calculator software.
Update: We recently launched a new and improved version of Cardinalmarime.com. The update included some minor bugfixes to the software and and major refresh of the design to help keep The Captain accessible to all. Working with Cardinal Maritime, we plan to release a major software upgrate later this year.

Migrate Global are a relatively new company who provide domestic Removal Services and specialise in overseas moves.
Pyxisoft provided the initial Consultancy for the project, scoping initial requirements and drafting the Design Brief. We co-ordinated the design process, working with a third party and have since took over the maintenance of the site.
